EMDR Intensives
Deeper healing in less time. For people who are ready to actually get somewhere.
EMDR Intensives in Oklahoma — for adults who want real momentum, not another 50 minutes once a week.
You're not looking for more therapy. You're looking for movement.
Maybe you've been in weekly sessions and keep circling the same ground. Maybe you've never done therapy but you know there's something specific you're ready to face. Maybe your schedule doesn't allow for once-a-week indefinitely — but you're willing to commit to something focused and real.
Whatever brought you here, you're not looking to talk about it forever.
You want to go in, do the work, and come out different on the other side.
That's what intensives are designed for.
What makes an intensive different
Weekly therapy has a rhythm: 50 minutes, stop, come back next week. That rhythm works well for a lot of people. But for deeper material — old patterns, stuck memories, things that haven't budged despite your best efforts — the stop-start format can slow things down. Just as something opens up, time runs out.
An intensive gives us room to stay with it.
Instead of picking up and putting down the same thing week after week, we work in extended, focused sessions that create real momentum. We don't have to stop mid-process. We don't lose the thread between appointments. We get somewhere.
This isn't more therapy. It's a different format — one that works exceptionally well for the right person at the right time.
How I work
I prefer to work intensively over time — 3-hour sessions across multiple visits. This allows us to go deep without overwhelming your system, and gives what surfaces room to integrate between sessions. It's focused and efficient without being a one-time sprint.
For clients who want a single concentrated block, the 6-hour format works well when you're targeting something specific, when travel or schedule makes ongoing sessions difficult, or when you're ready to commit a full day to doing the work.
We start with a planning session — 60 minutes to clarify your goals, talk through what you want to target, and figure out what format makes the most sense for you. Nothing gets scheduled until we both know it's the right fit.
From there, we draw on whatever combination of approaches the work calls for:
EMDR to reprocess what's been stuck — memories, experiences, and patterns that still carry charge no matter how much you've thought about them.
Parts work to understand what's been protecting you and why — and help those parts update, rather than fighting them.
Somatic and nervous system techniques to work with what lives in the body, not just what you can name in words.
The goal isn't to push through as much as possible. It's to get to the root of something and actually change it.
This tends to be a good fit if:
Something specific feels stuck no matter what you've tried
You've done weekly therapy and it hasn't moved the needle the way you hoped
There's an event, a relationship, a phase of life — or a pattern — you're ready to work on directly
Your schedule doesn't allow for consistent weekly sessions
You're ready to commit to real change in a shorter window of time
You don't have to be in crisis. You don't have to have a diagnosis. You just have to be ready.
Investment
Intensives are private pay only — no insurance, no diagnosis required, no third-party involvement in your work. That keeps things private, flexible, and focused on what you actually want to address.
Planning Session — $175 (60 minutes) Required before scheduling an intensive. This is where we figure out your goals, assess fit, and design your sessions.
3-Hour Intensive — $549
6-Hour Intensive — $999
Each intensive includes a 30-minute integration session.
You've gotten really good at holding it together.
But holding it together isn't the same as actually resolving it.
Intensives are for people who are done waiting for the weekly format to eventually get there — and who are ready to commit to doing something different.
If you're ready to stop circling and actually get somewhere, that's enough to start with. Schedule a free consultation and we'll figure out the rest from there.
