You’ve Done What You Were Supposed to Do

Maybe even some therapy.

You’re managing your responsibilities. Showing up for others. Keeping things moving.

But underneath it all, something still doesn’t feel right.

You’re not just tired — you’re emotionally worn from holding it together for so long.

Weekly sessions can start to feel like too little, too slow, or too fragmented. Always starting. Always stopping. Never quite staying with what actually needs attention.

What you want isn’t another coping tool.
You want space.
To go deeper.
To get to the root.
To finally work through what’s been stuck in a way that fits how you actually operate.

These intensives are intentionally designed for adults who are emotionally ready for deep work and able to invest in focused, private support.

EMDR Intensives Were Built for This

EMDR Intensives Were Built for This

This work isn’t about “talking more.”
It’s about creating the kind of momentum that weekly therapy often can’t hold.

EMDR Intensives use:

  • The transformative power of EMDR therapy to reprocess painful memory networks

  • Parts work to quiet inner battles and survival roles

  • Somatic and nervous system regulation to help your body finally feel safe

This is focused time, personalized structure, and real therapeutic movement — without dragging things out.

As an EMDRIA-Certified Therapist with advanced training in trauma, nervous system regulation, and parts-based work, I design every intensive for depth, safety, and meaningful change — not surface-level coping.

If you’re ready to stop circling the same pain and actually move through it, this is where that happens.

Choose Your Path

Each EMDR Intensive is shaped around your goals, your pace, and what your nervous system is ready for.
Below are the primary directions our work can take.

Restoring Safety & Rewriting the Past

For what still lingers — even when it’s hard to name.

This path is for clients carrying unresolved trauma, complex experiences, or emotional memory networks that never had the space to fully process. Some of the pain may feel vivid and specific. Some of it may be quieter and harder to define — but still shaping your nervous system, relationships, and sense of self.

In this work, we focus first on restoring a felt sense of safety in your body. From there, EMDR and somatic approaches help your system process what’s been held beneath the surface, so the past no longer intrudes on the present. This is not about reliving trauma — it’s about helping your brain and body finally complete what they were forced to hold unfinished.

This path is for those ready to stop surviving the past and begin living from a steadier, freer place.

Discernment, Direction & Deep Life Shifts

For the in-between seasons that feel disorienting.

This path is for moments of internal crossroads — when something is changing, unraveling, or asking to be reevaluated. Career transitions. Relationship shifts. Identity questions. Quiet realizations that your life no longer fits the way it once did.

Rather than rushing toward answers, this work creates space for clarity to emerge organically. We slow the mental spinning, work with the parts of you that feel torn or afraid, and support grounded decision-making that comes from self-trust instead of urgency.

This path is about choosing your next chapter from alignment — not fear.

From Survival Mode to Sustainable Calm

For when your system never fully powers down.

For when your system never fully powers down.

This path is designed for those whose lives run on alertness, pressure, and constant mental movement. You may be highly capable, outwardly successful, and relied on by many — while internally living with anxiety, burnout, tension, or chronic over-functioning.

Here, we work with the deeper nervous system patterns that keep your body bracing even when nothing is wrong. Using EMDR, parts work, and regulation-based approaches, we help your system learn that rest is no longer dangerous — and that calm doesn’t mean everything will fall apart.

This is not about doing less.
It’s about finally being able to slow down without fear — and living from steadiness instead of pressure.

Bespoke & Complex Healing

Because not every story fits a template.

Some experiences don’t land neatly in categories. You may be navigating layered grief, long-standing identity shifts, relational rupture, moral injury, or personal rebuilding that doesn’t look like anyone else’s story.

This path allows us to design the work entirely around what matters most to you. No forced narrative. No prescribed track. Just intentional, deeply personalized healing that responds to your unique internal landscape.

This option is for clients who know their healing requires discernment, customization, and real psychological depth.

Investment & Structure

EMDR Intensives are offered outside the insurance system so your work can remain private, flexible, and directed by your personal goals — not medical necessity requirements.

No diagnosis required.
No insurance paperwork.
No records sent to third parties.

For many clients — especially professionals, first responders, and those who value privacy — this is not a drawback. It’s the point.

These intensives are not designed for crisis stabilization, court-mandated treatment, or short-term symptom management only.

What To Expect

EMDR Intensives are not just longer therapy sessions.
They are a different way of working.

With extended time and uninterrupted focus, we stay with what’s actually happening in your system — rather than managing symptoms or circling familiar stories.

Some moments will feel active.
Some will feel quiet.
Some may feel spacious, reflective, or still.

We follow your rhythm — not a rigid agenda.

Between sessions (if spread across days), your nervous system has time to integrate. That integration is part of the healing itself.

You don’t have to show up polished.
You only have to show up real.

Clients often describe intensives as the place where things finally begin to shift — not because the work is rushed, but because it’s uninterrupted.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Intensives may be held in person at my Edmond, OK office or virtually via secure video for Oklahoma residents. We’ll talk together in advance about what format best supports your goals, nervous system, and capacity for deep work.

  • Yes. For clients traveling in from outside the Edmond/OKC area — or those wanting immersive focus — intensives may be structured over a full weekend. A typical format may include:

    • Friday evening (Half-Day Intensive)

    • Saturday (Full-Day Intensive)

    • Sunday morning (Half-Day Intensive)

This pacing allows your nervous system time to settle and integrate between sessions while maintaining meaningful momentum.

  • You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from an intensive. If you’re feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, or like something inside is asking for more space — you’re likely ready. We’ll explore fit together during your planning session and make sure the structure aligns with where you are.

  • That’s part of why this model exists. With more time, we’re not rushing or forcing anything. There is space to slow down, ground, step back, and return to the work if and when it feels right. Your nervous system always sets the pace.

  • No. Intensives are designed differently. With extended time, we’re not squeezing layered history or big emotions into a short frame. We can slow down, stay with what’s emerging, and allow the work to unfold with continuity and regulation.

  • No. EMDR Intensives are private pay only. This allows your work to remain private, self-directed, and free from insurance-driven limitations or diagnoses. No superbills are provided for intensives.

  • Yes. Intensives are not appropriate for individuals who are currently experiencing active psychosis, unmanaged substance dependence, active suicidal intent, or who need crisis-level stabilization. These factors are assessed during the planning session to ensure your safety and the appropriateness of this model.

One Last Thing

It’s easy to delay this kind of work.

Life is full. You carry a lot. And some part of you might still think, “I should be able to handle this on my own.”

At some point, healing stops being about surviving and starts being about choosing your life with intention.

There comes a quiet, honest moment when you realize:

  • You’re tired of carrying it alone

  • You’re done pretending it doesn’t affect you

  • You’re ready for something to actually shift

EMDR Intensives are built for that moment.

Not only for when everything is falling apart — but for when you’re finally ready to stop surviving and start living differently.

You don’t have to earn this. You only have to be willing to begin.
