There Is Solid Ground Here
Anxiety, panic, and OCD therapy for adults in Oklahoma who are ready to step out of survival mode and into steady calm.
When You Can’t Shut It Off
The thoughts. The fear. The pressure.
Some days, anxiety hits like a tidal wave — racing heart, tight chest, that familiar edge of panic. Other days, it hums under the surface: the overthinking, the tension, the constant need to keep going. The fear of a panic attack follows you around like a dark cloud.
You’ve told yourself you’re being dramatic. That you should be able to handle this. You try to relax, but your mind won’t stop. The moment you slow down, the noise gets louder.
Maybe you’ve noticed thought rituals or repetitive behaviors creeping in — things you do to feel a little more in control. Replaying conversations. Triple-checking. Counting. Cancelling. Avoiding. Maybe you’ve gotten used to telling yourself you’re crazy, irrational, or too much.
You’re not.
This isn’t just worry, and it’s not a personality flaw. It’s anxiety — and it’s exhausting. For some, it grows into full-blown panic attacks. For others, it spirals into obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors that feel impossible to control.
This is a space for people who feel like they “should” be fine but aren’t. Who are tired of pushing through. Who are ready to understand what’s really going on — and finally get some relief.
Is Your Mind Getting Harder to Control?
You’ve always just handled it — the pressure, the overthinking, the way your brain never quite lets you rest. Maybe you’ve told yourself it’s just stress. That you’re wired this way. But lately, it’s getting harder to keep pushing through.
You feel overwhelmed, on edge, or stuck in your head. You replay conversations, obsess over what-ifs, and can’t seem to turn it off — no matter what you try. Maybe you’ve even started to question your sanity or wonder why you can’t just calm down.
If you’ve been silently struggling with racing thoughts, emotional shutdown, panic, or intrusive fears… you’re not broken. And you’re not alone.
Anxiety can look like:
Mental loops that won’t shut off
Replaying conversations and fearing you said the wrong thing
Second-guessing every decision — even the small ones
Always waiting for something bad to happen, for the other shoe to drop
Trouble falling or staying asleep
A need to overprepare, overdeliver, or stay in control
Pushing through exhaustion and ignoring your limits
Sometimes it builds slowly. Other times it erupts into panic:
A racing heart, chest tightness, or trouble breathing
Feeling detached, dizzy, or like you’re losing control
Sudden waves of dread — even when nothing seems obviously wrong
And for some, anxiety turns into obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviors:
Intrusive thoughts that feel disturbing or impossible to stop
Mental rituals or repetitive actions that feel necessary to prevent something bad
A constant need to check, clean, count, or seek reassurance
This isn’t a matter of “just calming down.” If you could, you already would have.
These are signs of a nervous system that’s been in overdrive for too long — trying to keep you safe, but keeping you stuck.
Life with anxiety can feel like you’re constantly riding whitewater rapids.
Therapy helps turn it back into a quieter, steadier river.
How Therapy Can Help
Anxiety can make life feel unmanageable from the inside out. You don’t need another pep talk or generic coping tip — you need someone who understands the roots of anxiety and can help you actually feel different in your day-to-day life.
In our work together, we’ll:
Identify the unconscious patterns driving your anxiety and overfunctioning
Use EMDR therapy and parts work to address deeper roots — not just manage surface symptoms
Explore the protective roles you’ve taken on (the achiever, the fixer, the caretaker, the one who can’t fall apart)
Learn somatic tools to calm your body and regulate your nervous system
Directly address panic, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and cycles that feel out of control
Build self-compassion — even when you’re not “doing enough”
The panic attacks can stop.
You can step out of worst-case spirals.
You can feel like your mind and body belong to you again.
You can finally have some internal quiet.
When You’re Ready for Deeper Work: EMDR Intensives
Sometimes anxiety is more than a weekly appointment can hold. You don’t need months of circling the same patterns — you need focused time to get to the root and create real movement.
EMDR Intensives are extended, private-pay therapy sessions designed for high-capacity adults who are tired of coping and ready for change.
I offer:
Half-Day Intensives (3 hours)
For targeted focus on a specific issue, a recent spike in symptoms, or a major decision point.Full-Day Intensives (6 hours, with breaks)
For deeper healing and nervous system regulation around long-standing anxiety patterns, panic, or obsessive loops.
In these sessions, we combine EMDR, parts work, and somatic support to:
Process what’s been stuck
Calm an overactivated nervous system
Shift long-standing patterns that haven’t changed with shorter, weekly sessions
These aren’t about performing or “telling your story perfectly.” They’re about giving you time, space, and structure to actually do the work.
Many clients describe intensives as a turning point — a place where they finally feel momentum, clarity, and relief.
You Don’t Have to Keep Holding It All Together
Anxiety tells you everything will fall apart if you slow down.
The truth is: you don’t have to do this alone anymore.
Whether you’re spiraling on the inside or just tired of never feeling calm, therapy can help you:
Quiet the noise
Understand what’s underneath
Reconnect with yourself
And finally exhale
Reach out when you’re ready. I’ll meet you where you are.
